Only three days of freedom remain for students returning to the Bowie Campus.  The temporary campus has been relocated to the high school.  Contractors are busy completing finishing touches to the seventeen temporary buildings that will house the classrooms, library and office.  Auxillary structures will house the restrooms, kitchen and cafeteria.  Arrangements are being made with the high school for use of the auditorium.

The temporary campus is slated to be used during the 2015/2016 school year.

Parents may drop and pick up students from the Lions Lair entrance.  Signs will be in place Monday.  Automobile traffic will be on the inside lane while buses will load in the outside lanes.  Traffic will exit onto Monty Stratton near Paris Jr. College.

Teachers are decorating their classes and arranging desk and chairs for the Monday morning rush.  Books are being stacked in the temporary library and data systems are connected in the computer lab.  All walkways are covered so students will not experience the full fury of a Texas rain storm in November.

The New Bowie is being constructed on Stonewall Street and should be ready for occupancy during the 2016 school start.  The first week will be hectic but activities will soon fall into place and become part of a normal school day routine.
