Hundreds of family and friends celebrated the life of Walter S. Meziere, Jr. in the glen at the Rocking M Airport just east of Boles Home, Texas this evening.
Walter was like Will Rogers in that he never met a stranger. His brother told the story about the first dollar that Walt ever made…picking cotton on his grand dad’s farm near Pineville, Louisiana. He shared that dollar with his brother to buy a candy bar and Pepsi at the country store not far from the farm. Walter believed in paying it forward to various charities. His favorites were the Boy Scouts and Arms of Hope Foundation (Boles Home).
A missing man formation of five aircraft was flown over the Rocking M Airport at the start of Walt’s Celebration of Life by Falcon Flights.
