LONE OAK — Services for Martha Ann White, 84, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Lone Oak Baptist Church, under the direction of Bartley’s Lone Oak Funeral Home, with Bro. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 7, at the funeral home.
Mrs. White passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, in a Greenville hospital.
She was born Sunday, Aug. 31, 1930, in Lone Oak to the late W.H. and Annie Lee Cody Hunt Sr. She was raised in Lone Oak and married Derald White Dec. 8, 1948, in Dallas. She was a bank teller and lived most of her life in Lone Oak. She was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church, the Eastern Star, and the Lone Oak Civic Club.
Survivors include sisters-in-law Bettie Junkin and Jane Hunt, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Derald White; a brother, W.H. Hunt Jr.; and sister Mary Evelyn Nicholson.
Pallbearers will be W.H. Hunt IV, Benjamin James, Hayden Hunt, Ethan Hunt, Garrett Brumit, Hunter Brumit, and Chad Brumit.
