8th grade students participated in an egg drop at the Greenville Christian School.  Egg drops have been going on since Galileo dropped objects from the Tower of Pizza.

The goal was to protect the raw egg as it was dropped from thirty or forty feet from the football grandstand.  Ingenuity was on display.  Some wrapped the egg in toilet paper while others used foam and a small box.  Amber Guthrie made a skeleton frame from red drinking straws.

The goal was to protect the raw egg as it fell just as teachers at the school try to protect students from the ravages of drugs.
